How to develop childrens time management ability from an early age?

Dalian family education found that some children could not concentrate in class. The tasks assigned in the class can not be completed well. During the break, I was busy playing with children and did not complete the homework in time. I need to take many homework home to do. This will make children feel that homework after class is heavy, but in fact, if the efficiency is tight, children can complete quite a part of homework tasks in the school.

Parents assign their children many after-school tasks. Even many primary school children have entered all kinds of cram schools directly after school. Some children have after-school cram classes every day from Monday to Sunday, so that they gradually become disgusted with the arrangement of learning. They do not blindly delay time to oppose the task arrangement of too much homework.

1. Set the target.

Goals are one of the important criteria for achieving a sense of achievement. Therefore, parents can set some learning goals or goals in life for their children. These goals are specific things in life that should not be too grand. For example, setting too grand goals may add more psychological pressure to children. Therefore, in life, parents should also take good care of their children's own feelings. Of course, at the beginning of this process, the children may be more resistant, but they will gradually accept it.

2. Set rewards.

Setting rewards can make children feel a sense of achievement in accomplishing their goals. On the one hand, this sense of achievement can increase children's self-confidence. Some children have a low self-esteem in life and are unconscious of time. This often wastes a lot of valuable time unconsciously. These valuable time can be used to read, improve their skills and expand their knowledge, However, due to the children's unconscious behavior, they may pay a high price later. When parents set time rewards, they can give children a motivation and make them understand the importance of time.

Children in primary school need to have enough free time and play time, which also makes children have no way to release their own emotional pressure and have to express their opposing feelings by delaying time. Over time, children's concept of time will become increasingly thin. So once this behavior is prominent and lasts too long, it is difficult to correct it. If this is still the case at this stage of middle school, it will be relatively difficult for us to help children cultivate their time management ability.

In fact, the time management of children has always been a special concern of every parent. We all hope that our children can sit there and concentrate on one thing. We also hope that these children can eat when it is time to eat and sleep when it is time to sleep.

But the child is not a robot, and there is no such standard schedule in his brain. The concept of children's time management, to a large extent, comes from the cultivation of parents. Therefore, in theory, we should make different time management plans according to the common personality and age difference of each child. The ability to make plans is the foundation of children's time management training. Teaching a child to develop the good habit of making plans will benefit him all his life.
